I just downloaded the mod and am geting HORRIBLE performance, any ideas why...? I have a really nice computer and can run OF on max graphics and such but when I try BotB I get horrible frame rate. Any ideas? Although in the few laggy minutes that I played the game seemed really cool, hopefully I can get this resolved so I can play :/
Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it.
lol yeah botb takes a lot of resources. I had the same problem. |

I just had to remove directx10 , went from 5 FPS to 60 lol. But this is a fantastic mod, after playing online I was shocked about how much fun it was. If they merged BotB with EiR i'd be in gaming heaven ;p

Did you play with people you have as friends or did you find an online game? What chat channel are BotB players using? I can not seem to find anyone playing yet I know that there are some people playing it.

Yes I really would love to see some BotB ideas put into EiR:
-Hiding in buildings with hold fire
-Longer ranged tanks (but more vulnerable)
-No more cloaking but passive hiding for all infantry and ATGs
-No more fire-up, but sprint ability
-Allied officer granting fireup/arty

Same here. But tanks shoot be even more easy to kill. I mean shrekz needs buff. It will solve problem with vet whores... |

Played BotB a few days ago. I can safely say that I salivated over my keyboard the entire time. Anyone up for some games this weekend? I gotta wear out SW:TFU before then. =P

How do I do this? I have XP so no DX10 anyways, so a performance boost would be great. |

You can turn Dx10 settings off, but if you have XP you won't have it in the first place...

It was in response to Torjado, he asks how to turn dx10 off :p.
Just get rid of the zoommod, you'll get a big performance boost too, if they haven't already removed it from the mod all together.
