We Estimate a beta will be available for you to play in roughly 1.5 - 2 months time.

We must stress that this will be an early beta and will contain the following:

    * All Four Sides/Armies
    * All Complete Doctrines
    * AT system (Advanced Training)
    * There will be a simple web based War control panel, which will allow you company and battle creation, this will be replaced by a pretty launcher/WCP in a later release.

Note:
Near the release time we will release information on how VP's (Victory Points) will work, how you will buy doctrines and how many of the systems work in detail.

I guess anyone here would volunteer for that.  Roll Eyes
seriously, looking forward to it.
May it once be a worthy successor to EiR.

It is likely there will be an earlier, more basic release for ability/systems testing

The beta described by Draygon is actually an equivilent release to the current state of EIR

I have to say that the indirect 88 fire video was rocking.  As was what I've seen of Bonte's emplacements.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

Would be really cool if you applied the same system to the Heavy Weapon Upgrades of both sides (so you would only ever get say 6-8 RRs or 6 shrecks at one time and if you lose em you have to wait for supplies).

It would be nice if there were 3 stages.

stage 1: all 4 armies, no doctrines (REALLY SOON I HOPE)
Objective: balance pricing

stage 2: test the new launcher thingy system.
stage 3: full systems test (doctrines)

There will be availability for upgrades - Not sure if it'll work exactly the same or more of a "resupply" thing where you have a hard-cap but can get them all back

we'll see, but in this circumstance the doctrines would go in before the launcher

launcher has not really been started yet, we all have other things to be working on.
