Picked up work on TrUbPl again, added weather and a moving sun and made the map "Beta ready".

The players will now start in the morning and experience a transition into midday in the first 15mins. Then its getting darker again, fog increases and over the evening it starts to rain. Into the night the rain increases and it grows up to a storm (wind strength increases, lightnings n stuff).

All object and spline/splat placement that has an influence on the gameplay is done, left to do is work on the overall look of the terrain.

So, still much vis only stuff to throw around but the Beta will be packed and posted as soon as its in the module file.



The Screenshots are kinda stretched, had the WB open on a widescreen. Will take 4:3 shots again next time.

well, if you have a shitty PC, you just have to annihilate the enemy before the 20min mark, otherwise, you'll get pwned dude!!!! Wink

Serious now, I just love rain in CoH and so again, no can-do on removing the rain. It stays ! Tongue

@ DasNoob lemme have a testgame first before I make it a 4v4 Smiley
(actually, I thought about redoing Westfalen next (next year) and make it a 4v4 map with combination of urban and rural fighting instead of the current urban-only scenario)
This should be fine for a 3v3, otherwise the defenders would have an easy time blocking off most of the accesses with TTs n stuff and bunker in on the hill-line in the middle

For a more detailed description on the map and the process, check the OMG websites map forum. But of course I will release the map as EiR map, and even if OMG comes out, will keep releasing the maps as both EiR and OMG maps (if that even requires some extra changes in the scar files n stuff but I guess it will as for OCP gameplay its the "EiR supply lines" function in EiR code, so theyll probably change that in OMG).

Why don't set the rain back a little, to about 25 minutes, so they have more time?

Contains only the new map and is only 6,5 or so mb in size.

I will put another weather option in the next release, offering a transitioning weather without rain.

There should also be music playing now, didnt test in EiR yet. Hopefully it works Grin

Mh, one should be able to place em in the sga, as its a path you define for the music in the options file.

But coding the change of music due to ingame events would probably be much more diffcult..

Ill try to grab myself a Cozmo in the near future and squeeze him until he reveals that part to me Grin
