To be honest, i personally find that the Pershing really isn't worth the cost, and CP points to unlock. Compared to the King Tiger. The King Tiger is a mobile doomfort, as it should be... Though the Pershing is too easily overwhelmed and destroyed, and doesn't appear to be worth the cost to acquire it.

Basically, make the Pershing moar epic, or lower the resource cost a bit =o

I agree pershing without vet, obm or next gen sux. Even panther can win with it which is not doctrine unit. I think pershing should be better against infantry, now it fails on whole line.

Keep Pershing at max range, use it to hunt down shrek teams because the tank is very resilient to shreks penetrating. That is a very easy way to gain vet on it. Use it to fight panthers front to front and you'll be good, bring in perhaps an ATG support or stickies. It isn't a useless tank, but requires a lot more finess and skill to use it effectively. I ran 2 pershing companies last war and the key with them is to know when you are overwhelmed, and don't just barge in and expect it to be safe because it isn't a Tiger or KT for that very reason.

Shouldn't get a pershing without one of those T4s anyway.

It's a decent tank but it's really primarily an AT tank, like the panther rather than a great all-rounder like the Tiger.
It's also not much more expensive than a panther, not sure about their current costs though, tiger is more expensive either way.

It isn't only an AT tank, it has good splash and I've had multiple 40+inf kill games with it.

Its splash isn't that good, comparatively.  The Pershing is not very accurate against infantry.

Would you rather have a Tiger or Pershing? Tiger of course, it is way cooler to pretend your tank has Wittmann at the controls rather than Jones or [insert stereotypical American name here].

Seriously, the Pershing is being buffed AFAIK in the patch. I hope it gets powerful, even just to entice players into giving me 16xp.

Well, the Pershing is just asthetically more sexy than the Tiger.

As for using the Pershing, you can get the most use out of it by keeping it at long ranges and having Onboard Mechanics. Panzerschrecks will have trouble penetrating or even hitting it at longer ranges and the Onboard repairs will keep the tank in fighting conditions.

The Pershing excels at destroying medium tanks. Against other heavy tanks, it won't perform as well. If I remember correctly, the Pershing should be the cheapest of all the heavy tanks including the Panther. Then again, I don't know what the current price is as it may have changed over the past balance changes.

What? Stop telling heresy, even tiger engine sound is sexy, pershing doesn't have that "thing". It's like comparing dog pershing to tiger  :-P. Tiger is a legend (little overatted, but still).

I know we are not comparison to real stats, but pershings gun should have atleast same parameters as Tigers 88...
