Pershing fails at accuracy against infantry to be honest, it's just frustrating if you're used to tigers. Undecided
And vet 1 for all allied tanks is quite useless.

The Pershing excels against infantry. Yes unkn0wn I saw your game, but it could have been just a bad game/luck.

Basically tips for Pershing.

1: Engage everything at max range
2: Do not move the tank while firing
3: Do not circle strafe anything smaller then a KT
4: YOU CAN FACE SHREKS! Pershings front armor is kick ass the penetration of shreks are 67% and that is lower at max range and its harder for the shreks to hit. So feel free to blast away, but don't move as you fire, you'll miss.
5: Always use it with onboard mechanics (NGV is nice but Pershings are bullet magnets)
6: Paks kick ass against a Pershing, avoid them
7: You can't hit motorcycles
8: You almost always hit pumas
9: You can't easily squish units, don't bother
10: Your tank isn't that agile, don't try to move it a lot, try to follow lines.

I'll find the HVAP info, just a penetration increase, no damage.

Pershings (and M10s) have very bad accuracy against PAK guns. All other tanks have decent accuracy against ATGs. King Tiger has very good accuracy against ATGs.

Pershing has a move modifier of 0.5, other tanks 0.75, which makes the Pershing very poor at chasing down enemy tanks to kill them.

Pershing has poor acceleration compared to the Panther, further making it hard for it to chase.

The Pershing is only really viable with On Board Mechanics so that it can act as a damage sponge and provide a brick wall that stops infantry and tanks.

That being said, I and other Pershing users use them over the Sherman because of its penetration, and that shreks and PAKs have about a ~50% chance of penetrating.

Allied M10 vet 1 is good, 20% less damage taken. Vet 2 20% more health. Vet 2 M10s are comparable to a Sherman for damage taking, and are fast enough to chase down tanks / stukas etc.

I have to agree, the pershing is one of the weaker units around, but its cheap at least.

It still is uther fail vs paks and schrecks while a Tiger can turn a single AT gun or Squad into dust with a few shots. Also it does not excell at its job as the panther does - If you want a tank death and its around the middle of the map - the panther will kill it.
