Hello to one and everyone.
I recently started playing COH again after a couple years. I have been playing my Medievel Total War2 game but just had not reinstaled COH and didnt have the Motivation to untill this week, i was scanning for some good mods to play with and rewet my apitite for COH lo and behold i stumble upon EIR.
Looks fun hope to try it soon but i had a couple questions.
My internet is not so good (Wildblue) my speed is 100MB and it does ok for surfing chating easy stuff just wondered how it might play with EIR?

If you get lag within 2v2 game let along 3v3 ones in CoH, you will get the same lag in EiR. Games are always 2v2 or 3v3 rarely 4v4.
So in conclusion, if you lag in CoH you will lag in EiR.

I got a 1 Mb(128 kB) connection and don't lag(generally), had a 256 Kb (32 kB) before that and didn't lag either. Though I have troubles with mountainman(who lags with all of europe) and a chuck or two with 31st, but nothing too aparent. |

Also, welcome to the forums and EiR. If you need any help dont hesitate to ask.
Protip -
Only make 1-2 of your platoons 20-25 pop, as basically your starting and backup call-in. The rest should only be 10-15.
Protip -
Dont spam rangers, AB or BARs or the axis will whine "OP"

was do i just need the base maps or do i need all the beta maps as well?
and i dont have a mic for vent is that a problem? (dont like using one because i play at night and cant talk as im in the same room as my wife and shes sleeping or someones watching TV so it wouldnt work annyway.)

No, when you sign up, it asks for your Relic Online profile name. THAT has to match EXACTLY with it. Otherwise, no.

Yep.
Left side is the War control panel, the first link in the "EIR Menu".
Click it, there it will ask for your ingame profile.
Your forum names don't matter, you can actually tie multiple forumaccounts and thus divisions to a single ingame account.
I for example got 7 Accounts (most of them hardly ever used) that I play with 3 ingame profiles, some prefer to use only 1 or 2.
