What?  I'm pretty sure that Assault works just fine on houses, the only problem is that if you target a squad with Assault then they jump into a house (or out of the house) it cancels Assault.  However, that is a problem with vCoH that kinda carries over.

You don't. As soon as the ability is activated, the munis are gone, whether or not they throw any grenades

Assault nades can't be used on volks atm (due to teh exploit). And if you use them on a house and the person gets out the thing is cancelled, complain to Relic about that.

Lol i really don't see any weakness... Axis have got two non doctrinal infantry units.  so that you can have grenadiers as your core, and if you want assault you can just buy as volks as you need assaults. I need 4 volks I buys 4 assault... where is the weakness of buying it on all my volks if they are not my only infantry? Is it for mp40? Panzerfaust? LOL Assault on volks is even more BS because there are 3 guys that throw grenades instead of 2 like on KCHS or Stormies or Grens. Never seen a more overpowered ability in a game where retreat means losing a squad for that particular game... HUndreds of grenades are really a win button ._.

Fighting assault nades:

Building combat:
[1] If outside, get inside.
[2] If inside, get outside, then go back inside.

Open terrain:
[1] Spread out
[2] Run assaulted squad backwards
[3] Slaughter volks running forward suicidally into the rest of your army

yes Mr Micromacro godlike, everything is easy on the paper. And if they throw one grenade volley all together it isn't that easy to get out alive.. On open ground it is even more bs... they throw grenades where you are pointing at... Their range is simply ridiculous too.

yes that is true, but just place an hmg/tank/ai squad/more volks/lmg  behind your volks using assault (as they are supposed to be supported also by their own kind)  and no allied player will charge axis blindly. If you are behind green cover or solid cover you cannot run them backwards, as you try to move you get 3-4 grenades every two seconds... there is no way unless you are very lucky and manage to select and move your unit backwards before they have activeted assault.

To be honest, most people don't place any support on their assaulting volksgrenadiers as they're perceived to be 'unstoppable' while throwing nades, etc. Hence why running into the volks is probably your best bet. Especially when there's larger groups of volksgrenadiers assaulting. That or just building hopping.

Unless you are talking about noobs, every player I met supported his volks very well(and I noticed that many pros use assault eheh). Last game, I had two vet 2 full healt airborne squads in green cover(behind a stone wall) plus two guys with rrs, when suddenly I saw something like 7-8 grenades thrown all at once, and again and again, There was also an hmg, but since assault act as fireup too it didn't suppress at all, they slaughtered my men easily and at the speed of light (I moved them backwards as well) with the remaining squad I charged them just to discover a kch squad that was waiting me. then a volk squad used again assault on the remaining hmg. :|

Since assault is suppose to be temporarily off limits to volks until the exploit is fixed, it really is a waste of time using it on grens against a player that is paying attention. They flash the symbol and then you can just run off into different directions and watch as the nades fly all over the place and miss.

Yes I have seen so many players that used assault so I suppose it is legal. Anyway it's not dodgeable like other grenades since it let you throw hundreds of them...

it is dodgable.  You just need to keep on the move and those nades will fall in the wrong place.  you literally need to run!  I've dodged them many times.
