just played a 3v3 again,
 this time i was axis, and i quite succeeded flanking the enemy defnensive position and make my own defensive position, only then i got flanked by paras who killed my AT and then the crocodile attacked
i didnt lost any troops i could just hide them. only bad was maybe that the island is so big, so i couldnt get AT there fast maybe i should make it a 4v4?
dirtbag failed using new tactics so he just dropped  Lips sealed

in next patch im gonna make sanddunes in the water so you can flank a bit more quickly, remove the mid territory and make it unable to walk all the way to the other enemys spawn only trough the water, so you gotta get on the island too

i told you why i did not continued playing
this map is huuuuuggggeeee but don't allow any flanking
it needs ages to get troops to the frontlines

in my opinion this kind of map is against any CoH gameplay
i know that you used the real wake island to build it, but it would be better to take a piece of this island and create a map out of it then trying to rebuild the whole island as map

bad bad bad map. I mean water in the middle with red cover.....you know how long it takes to move units thru that? Its basically one guy get 2x or 3x and the others stand and watch and have to try to hit the other rear. Its not tactically flexible and the defensive player has an easy time setting up defense. Saying to use middle when its red cover and slow speed is asking to get wtfbbq pawned.

after some good ideas for improving the map, and some criticisms...  ive made 1.2
here are the changes:

-a lot of coral reefs have now been uncovered, in other words you can move a bit quicklyer around in the middle water
-territories in the mid water are gone
-some changes to the territories onland to make the map more balanced.
-some extra flanks on the island, and three new points to enter the water will make the map more balanced and better to flank.
-after some complains about 3 guys attacking 1 and others cant reach him or whatever, ive decided to make the map a 4v4 (but dont be shy playing 3v3 or something, originally it was a 2v2)
-some minor changes

if 2 defenders are attacked by one, they will just advance, so then one team has the top part, and the other team the bottom part so then theres still noboddy winning,
and btw its very easy to cross to the other part of the island at the spawns of both teams, and on other parts of the island you can go to the other side too but that takes a bit longer

I usually host a game in launcher and announce what map i am playing and tell anyone who joins that thats the map we will be playing and give them the download link. Anyone that disagrees can gtfo. waiting till you are all readied up is too late.

Yes this map looks awesome, and can be made into an EIRR based map which is great!, i forsee a tournament style map in the future if done properly.

Who wants to make a Island fight? You know, Conquering Creetan Island or smth. Scenario to it. Axis can only deploy Luftwaffen infantry while British can only deploy Light vehicles (HTs Brengun carriers) etc. Cheesy

tried that but units moved way too slow in the water, it would take forever to get somewhere. noone used it.

so i tried to make land passages in the middle but tbh, it looks like shit.
