i did listen killer, i didn't hear it.

also, kinda weid that you get an automatic abandon. This def makes snipers vs support weapons a little less deadly in a way.

o.o Not really Tym....snipers still kill the crew, and the last guy runs away, so you've still decrewed the weapon. I'm certain the auto-retreat isn't instant either, because there will probably be a 'decrewing' animation/period of time where the last guy can still die. So if you rush a support weapon with inf, it's still likely that you'll nab the last guy before he starts running. Not with a sniper though

i've had a lot of times where my last crew member gets ganked on teh way out for sure, also repair bunkers repair at .5, but as Panzerjager said there is something to do with a bonus .5 in their repair rate, so they actually function at 1 .. i dunno though personally haven't messed with the rgd.

I meant to say makes it less deadly for vetted crews. Tanks, artillery weapons and infantry will still rape it though.

Interesting thought though. At the moment, 88's and howies have low vet which of course never lasts long.

Maybe Im a minority, but I didn't like the idea of a return of the Tiger Ace. How would this even work? The Tiger Ace was a tank that received no veterency in vCoH because well, its an ace already.

So now there are going to be various levels of vet Tigers, and Tiger Aces? They are the same tank.

Please, correct me if I'm mistaken.

Regarding british units...

Will there be tommy MG teams? Tommy Mortar teams? (like used in OMG, and there are already Tommy HMG/Mortar teams scripted in the game).

Do the British get the 57mm AT gun? After all it was used by both.

Do the british guns HAVE to be in emplacements? In OMG they had just the plain old guns...and the ability to put them in emplacements.

Do the tommies still move really-retardedly-slow? Do they at least move faster when they're fired upon? (Hey guys, they have gun firing 1200 rounds per minutes. Let's walk through this).

Do the tommies get veterancy individually? Or does it depend on Lts.

Ok, the U.S. has an officer skinned and modeled, (go d/l cheat mod), there is the british captain, and the axis can use the officer. Do they all get "retreat to captain/officer" stuff?

All of your questions were answered in the podcast.

- Emplacements come on as a three-man crew without their weapons.  They are only armed with basic Lee-Enfield rifles.  They build the emplacement, and then man it.  The emplacement can be evacuated and rebuilt elsewhere.

- No.  There are no cross-factional weapons because of the legal issues and balance issues that would come from that.

- Yes.

- No.  Not only was this covered in both podcasts now, but it was also talked about in shoutcast 8.

- Yes, all Brits gain veterancy individually.

- Retreat to Captain has been taken out of the game.
