I've been playing a lot of games with my mates over the last couple of days, and realized that the way it is is very very very fun.  I think that, in a way, it'll be a shame when we implement persistancy.

I think there should be a way of playing persistancy games or not, depending upon what you want to do.  Either you can fight on the war map (which will allow for very strategic, long term gameplay) or you can fight a quick freindly game with your mates which has no impact on war-map gameplay.

Thoughts?

We might make this possible later on, who knows but let's just see how persistancy plays out Tongue

I have no doubts.  But things can get boring, and sometimes you wanna mix it up a bit.

Heh, go play vanilla or kmod then.

There will be plenty of 'mixing it up' on the battlemap.

I may be able to add a -practice command line parameter that won't send your battle results back to the server...

Sounds easy to abuse?

You'd both have to have -practice or it wouldn't work.

This would be excellent!
