12? are you serious? i used to run 30 rifleman comapny and still get out attritioned faster! they are inferiour to everything and will take forever to be slightly usefull at fighting axis inf.

I've been arguing for awhile that 12 is too few for base infantry.

With the current amount of manpower you have? I say it's fine. If you got the 30% manpower resource buff (when implemented) I'm fairly certain the cap would have to go up, however.

Rifles should be at least 16 because axis has 8 volks and 8 grens.

No, they shouldn't, because that would force axis to equally use grens and volks to compete where there is meant to be a choice.
If Volksgrenadiers and Grenadiers were on one limit, there would be an easy solution, right now, it isn't.

i've 8 riflemen all with BAR and 4 rangers in my company
i've a lot of support things like 3 hmgs 2 mortar 4 at guns and 1 or 2 flamer engies
i'm thinking about having the max. of hmgs like 4 hmgs

grens with shrek are for AT tasks and loose their anti inf capabilities because 4 men squadsize
i don't know maybe make it a on a equal hardcap but then it has to be more then 12 because most axis companys have around 4-6 grens as AT units that loose their AI capabilities when 50% loose their weapons because they get shreks

Maybe it's a bit rough on sappers, but otherwise it's great.
I'd love to get around 5 times more tetties than I do right now, tho ^^.

Thats exactly why they have the limitations set as they are, because of riflespam. Though I guess I should stfu, because the only thing that has been done to hurt my company, that I know of, is MP40s raised in price. Bring on the riflespam though, because they will just get slaughtered.

Its a soft cap,
you have two options. Buy the Infantry reinforcement and get 5 more for no pp cost, or pay PP.

i personally find it ok. I just employ more engineers now and play more cautious with my rifles. The fact that i can multi engie my tanks now is great, so i couple some support weapons with engines instead of rifles now, so i may have sometimes 2-3 engies on the field for no reason at all until i get a tank and then I can quickly repair it. You just gotta figure out your niche in the new system. I'm bad with rangers...even though i run an inf company, theres no reason for me to use rangers, so i dont
just need stickies and atg's.

hopefully not because it wide opens the door for spaming units
e.g. i could buy more fallschirmjäger for some PP but i've not the munition to equip them with FG42
spaming some elite units works only when you have much munitions for their upgrades
and buying munitions for PP (that can't be lost after a battle) is a bad idea because i would get the 7 rangers in my US all with thomsons and bazookas making a huge allround elite blob available
that would be not good especially for new players

there are resource bonus's planned soon.
In the advantages portion of the field book it explains them, they are not the same as they once were.
