he wasn't saying the faction makes a skilled player, he was saying that a faction (in this case wehr) can make a good player - ie a player more likely to win against a similarly matched opponent.

and if your more likely to win with a faction, i imagine more players would want to play with that faction, and as they win more, become more skilled. thus having the situation descibed above with loads of wehr players, and hardly any allies (relatively - it would be naive to say there were very few allied players)

...really?  Does the fact that I choose to play only two factions make me a lesser player, then?  I don't generally enjoy the german side in EiR.  Sure, I like them in vCoH, but I just can't get behind the EiR game for axis, so I don't play it.

Why would that make me a lesser player, in any regard?

i was accounting for the number of skilled axis players, not saying that your not skillful for not playing axis...unless that wasn't a respone to my post =P
