Pioneers = .33 hps
Engineers = .5 hps
Sappers = .667 hps
Panzergrens = .45 hps
PG w/ Advanced Repair = .667 hps
Expert Engineers = 1 hps
Bergetiger = 1.5 hps
It is nice that you try to even out the repair rates but the PZ grens are lower than the rest. It is a 4 man squad and should be on par with the sappers. When upgraded to a “fighting squad” its 5pop and its only fair that the repair/pop is less. And what is with the expert engineers getting double repair rate of everyone else?
Repair station is not mentioned but is it also getting the pio nerf? Should price not reflect this?


Green HP - Repairs are 50% effective
Yellow HP - Repairs are 100% effective
Red HP - Repairs are 200% effective
This is a 50% nerf on most of the repairs… The 200% effective repair while on red health makes me worry. Will there be cases where a repairing unit can manage to repair the engine or main gun before the next short hit thereby giving the unit the ability to withstand another non lethal critical hit?

I don't have any glue about the units I play with, but I have quite a clue how to use them. Yeah, engineers destroy a plain PG squad 1v1 at close range, gogogo tactics? Just keep yourself at range, I'm pretty sure you'll have more PGs than he'll have engineers being thrown at you. It's a basic tactic called kiting. Just because the PG is weaker when completely vanilla than the other vanilla base infantry, doesn't change it's role - it IS basic infantry. If you detest the PGs, use the vehicles.
I don't think you realise that the reason the PE have poor repairs, is BECAUSE they're easily damagable. It's their one weakness. They have mobility and heavy hitting guns, pay for it in health and armor. You also for get that because they have lower health, they are repaired faster as well - from 50 to 100 percent, for instance, than the vehicles of other factions. With the new repair rates in different health levels implementation, the PE will get quite a nice buff over the other factions(for instance - I shoot you with a PIAT on your AC and you're in yellow health, you get full repairs, you shrek my cromwell and it's still in green, i'll have half repairs.

and us players use only engies and no rifles or what?
lol it is a hybrid between engie and combat unit..as 3 men squad without upgrades it is an engie...when you upgrade it to 4 men and give it a G43 it become some kind of combat unit

but that is 225MP+70muni i would allways trade a 200MP 75muni bar 6 men rifleman squad against that

also when a pio is lost 50% less efectiveness of repair
when a engie is lost 33%3 less efectivenes of repair

something FAILS here


and there're also the sappers

with

.667/4pop= 0.167    .667/185mp= 0.003630     (still better than engies...)
when sappers are absolutely more effective on combat than engies....

if pop cap is "balanced" why not cost? Huh Huh

Well... we will always have some form of "my faction is weak... buff please". That is inevitable and sometimes usefull.
The truth is we all need more experience with new armies (PE and brits). Because they are very different from old ones.

Patch seems good for brits. It fixes lack of brit non-doctrinal long range indirect attack via adding 25 pounder. Also emplacement get a bit more resistant to mortars, just enough time to pack and move away (well sometimes not enough). All in all now brits at least got a chance vs mortars: either avoid them or counter-bomb them.

Axis got reduction in skirts ammo cost ,that is good news to axis tanks and ammo hungry infantry. It also brings gloomy future of man packed AT of allies. It seems rr have lost some appeal.

I'm not sure but shouldn't piats get slight ammo price reduction? They are the only brit hand held AT equipment that only works on clumsiness of axis or succesfull use of combined arms (button+lt).

their weakness is that they are  suppressed easily
i understand that point that they still get very easy suppressed but don't crawl for hours after supression unit is gone

They had the worst suppression recovery in the game, the Beta patch for vCOH changed it so it is now in line with Grens.
