As far as I can tell from coh stats, vet 3 on lieutenant does nothing and the vet in eir really doesn't add much. I think the vet 3 on captain makes it worth it but for lieutenant, why spend the PP. What do you guys think?

Lieutenant (1.5)
1 Received Accuracy 0.85 - Heroic Assault
2 Health Regen 0.028
3 Aura Radius +10

Captain (1.5)
1 Received Accuracy 0.8
2 Upgrade Armour to Infantry Elite
3 Veterancy gain in sector 1.2 - Artillery Cooldown 0.8

+10 Allows you to give that awesome bonus from an even safer range.

whats its normal radius as reference?

I usually try and give my lieutenants schrecks anyway so being far back is irrelevant.

As it is, i certainly wont be getting vet 3.

His base radius is 30.

It helps in keeping him alive as usually people will focus fire on him, especially when he's that high vet he'll be a huge target.

That being said, this veterancy is only temporarily as a new list is being worked on.

heh, i'm vetting my guys up as i get them, otherwise they might die in the next game without any of the upgrades. it may take a couple of days more to get my 30 pp, but i do like looking after my vet chaps. it's therapeutic. like gardening. and enraging when they get gunned down ;_;

xD 4th topic complaining about brits underpoweredness?

well, brit in is OVERPOWERED or UNDERPRICED

in vanilla its 450 MP for a good reason

in EiRR, where it can vet up TOO, its even more OP for 260 MP per squad

try a vet 3 LT + 2 vet3 tommies (with bren or riflenades) out, u'll see, u can kill everything

the aura of the LT and captain or the vet of tommies or the price of tommies need to be nerfed. srsly...

1. how often do you see that?
2. no shit.

ignoring that, tbh, i don't think lieutenants need anything changing on them, they do enough as is, especially if you have more than 1 buffing squads

If you can now explain why the vet 3 lieutenant makes it more powerful than a vet 2 lieutenant then congratulations you've managed to stay on topic and not just pushed your own agenda!

that aura, will help you and Your teamates... RighT?  So bigger aura means 2 seperate ppls vet 3 LLts will actually support teamates..> And since its a support unit, That would make sense sach...

Lt's don't affect teammates units, only your own. it would be so badass if it did though, if not OP.

Aura does nothing for your teammates.

And yes vet 3 LT is pointless.  I just leave them at 99xp.

Tommies are 450 mp in retail because you get one squad for free(everyone else gets a cheap capping/builder unit) and tommies are very cheap to reinforce compared to their build cost.   Reinforcing 5 tommies at 35mp/each costs 175 mp, reinforcing 4 PGs at 45mp/each costs 180 mp.   In addition, tommies have better retreat modifiers compared to everyone else.  They get a 75% dodge when retreating instead of a 50% everyone else gets.

If you are any good at vCoH you'd know all this already and have realized thats why tommies cost so much.  Relic made a mistake giving Brits a 450mp unit to start with so they balanced it by making tommies expensive to build, but cheap to reinforce and very hard to wipe out(the squad).

But then again, you are a hopelessly biased PE player so I should've expected this I guess.

I honestly couldn't tell you. I've had no luck being able to tie the animator for Brits to the US units. I do know for sure LTs in US companies don't gain veterancy unless they kill things themselves. As for the Bonuses I cannot be sure.
