I know that captains and lt's give bonuses to the ami infantry (i.e. see my rifles run into an hmg and not get suppressed cuz of vet 2 captain in territory Cheesy) but i'm wondering if the vet gain will work since the captain can't gain vet from stuff killed in its territory.

Why not just change this to ami infantry can share vet? It'll only work with LT's and Captains and wont affect anything else.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

The problem is I don't think it's possible to do that. As far as I know, it's either a unit shares vet or it doesn't, not it shares vet for certain units. This works with tommies/sappers/etc because only officers can vet, but not with USA.

Is Akranadas in this thread? Fucker can't stop bragging about his "waifu taldeer" and cosplaying in an eldar farseer costume while shouting "Flithy monkeighs!" interspaced with random eldar gibberish.

Americans don't have a sharing type to use as part of the code. So While captains and LTs receive shared veterancy, they can only do so from commonwealth units.

Theres lines in the RGD for shared veterancy. Giving it to US infantry is possible but it's just really not a priority. they still hand out their benefits to US forces

There's a line in the RGD for it.. yes. But there's nothing that can fill that slot that pertains to American units.

You assign them the Commonwealth veterancy sharing, all Commonwealth squads have it and the .2 xp modifier that way the squads remains the same but reports as a commonwealth unit for xp sharing

so...would it work then? so captains and lt would work as intended with US infantry?
