Its seem kinda stupid that a Tetrarch Light Tank can survive more than one shot for a Tiger/Tiger Ace/King Tiger. Really should be dead in one hit cos if your r stupid enough to charge a heavy tank like a Tiger it deserves to die in one hit. Huh

It took my Tiger on Vet one 4 hits to kill the Tetrarch Light Tank which is stupid.Shocked Most Brit players know this n use it to discract the tank.

Surely it's "stupid" that a halftrack can survive more than one shot from a Tiger/Pershing, that a mortar can land in the midst of an infantry horde and not kill anybody etc.  The game is not completely realistic and shouldn't be.  Should an unarmoured Nebelwerfer die in one hit from a Tetrarch?

Thats the only problem about some of the stupid things in this mod but then people would constantly compain about a sherman getting one shot by a tiger which happened in real life (like what happened to many allied tank). Id like to see some kinda of comman reality in some of the mod e.g. like the Tetrarch Light Tank Vs Tiger.

The Tetrach shouldnt have more/better armor than a Stuart. And that thing dies faster.

ye I noticed that. Dies within 1-2 shots from any tank compaired to the Tetrarch which takes like 3-4 maybe more depending on what AT ur using.

Many of the game mechanics are not realistic, because this is a game not a simulation.  Why can't an MG gun down infantry instead of just supressing them? etc

And Baine don't make balance arguement based off sentiments such as "well x has this so y shouldn't have, because I arbitrarily said so".  Lets turn this on it's face, why should a Tiger Ace have more health than a Tiger?  They are both the same tank!

The Tetrarch is tougher than a Stuart because it's job is to take on other vehicles, whereas the Stuart is mostly anti-infantry.

So does a stuart.  Or pretty much any piece of allied armor.

It dies slow to axis armour though, so hard to hit.

it goes down quick to AT, but not to tank weapons, in my experience. which seems fair, as it's primary role is a tank hunter. shrek mobs usually sort them out pretty fast, but one would expect a bit of survivability considering they cost almost as much as sherman before upgrades.

muhahahaha, been here done that.. its a game based on reality, but units are designed to have a use in game etc..  i.e.  Mark4s, pathers, tigers, king tigers all died to 1 shots from side or rear to Wolvirines, Fireflys, 76mm sherms etc..   i have brought up the one shot kill stuff enough to realise its not in this game for a reason, we would have very quick battles if stuff like that happened.

lets not forget what 1 shooted michael wittmans tiger and blew its top off.

And lets not forget that prior to that Wittman's Tiger destroyed an entire British Armor company and its attendant motorized infantry and anti tank guns.

Basically, at the starting ranges in game, no allied tank would make it out of the spawn.

Also if based on reality, we wouldn't have PAK38's, they are only 5cm. At this point in the war we would have PAK40 7.5cm and PAK43 8.8cm ATG's instead.

That and infantry would die rather quick.

Reality only has a place in this game as a basis of inspiration, nothing more.

yep, and if we have reality, we allies would have hundrends of heavy bombers carpet bombing the germans before we attacked, then we would have hundreds of P51s, P47s, P38s buzzing your dudes too.. yum yum!

Err...no. This is completely incorrect.

If we want any semblance of balance, this game had better not be realistic. But for the exact opposite reason.

Tetrarch Light Tank is epic, leave it alone. It can not take 4 shots from a tiger - only 2, and the third one kills it/disables it. The Tiger Ace two-shots the Tetrarch, if the TA has vet. Stuart is absolutely useless, it dies to 2 shrek shots, which the tettie can at least withstand, and for the price you're paying for it, and it's availability, I think it's a fair trade.

Stuart needs some help, its basically helpless against most targets. Its accuracy on the move and in general is HORRIBLE. For 50 fuel you get an AC that gets puma armor at vet 2 (almost equal to the stuart) with a infantry rape cannon, awesome dodge bonuses and a overdrive to help it outpace any other vehicle.
