The launcher says the hummel is supposed to be 10 population, but it actually takes up 11 on the field. Minor change wasn't sure where to post this but it is a balance issue.

I think thats a typo rather than a pop bug as priests are 11.

If their roles are identicle and their population is identical then why the price difference? A Priest is RCA and will most likely have supercharge associated with it, so it gives the same range as a Hummel(the hummel has to lock down) and they both do the same damage. I don't see the need for it's population to be on par with the superior priest(MG anyone?)

i'm guessing the price is made in mind with the faction itself, rather than against each other

Which is fine, but it goes on an already fuel hungry faction, PE everything is fuel, which maybe not much it adds up

Maybe a a cost of 1 population should be added to all turret mgs because there is a man on top  Grin.
Also tank commanders.

Hummel would take 3/4s health off a priest in a direct shot.  I watched a Hummel 1 shot my M10 once. That was scary.

The Hummel does more damage per shot, has better accuracy than the priest. If your saying the Priest is better because it has a mounted mg on top, then there is something wrong. That's like saying the Axis Halftrack should cost double more than the Allied Halftrack because it has 2 MGs instead of 1.

I'm not saying the MG makes it superior, but it certainly helps in situations. The Hummel is pretty junk. It being more accurate is practically irrelevant as it rarely hits things anyway. I'd rather have a larger scatter radius then accuracy as it's shit moving that makes it pointless. Thats why the Calliope is such a favorite.

I just chased a Ranger/Tommyblob into a tiny spot with my Ace, then the shell from my vet 2 hummel hit DIRECTLY on the blob, it was a lovely moment.
It sometimes overshoots but mostly it will hit directly where i ordered it to do.

In general, artillery are way more accurate if you keep LOS on the enemy unit, but yeah the Hummel is reliably accurate most of the time.
