Maybe..... fix the calliope so it cant fire so damn often and maybe make it even more expensive.

I find it to be completely ridiculous at the moment.
All the allies need are two players that have calliopes and its an automatic win for the alllies.

are you kidding me? Yes we played u last night with 2 callies and a priest and won that doesnt mean a calli or even 2 callis is suddenly an iwin button. Its a anticamp button thats for sure, so dont camp, ezpz. Not to mention you played against 2 vet 2 callis which is -30s cooldown. PE mortar HT(with incin rounds) is more useful than a calli in most situations in my opinion, if you baby it properly. Not to mention alot of allied players with callis misuse them from my experience playing PE. With the mortar HT I can continuously get 30+ kills, whereas the calli its fairly inconsistent due to map restrictions and how the opposition plays, as well as when i call it in. Not to mention balance in regards to Jadgpanter/tiger/tiger ace/KT/any axis supertank vs. what... the pershing? m10 spam? Leave allied arty alone and learn how to flank/not blob your infantry and especially when your well aware that the calli shot is coming.

I hate the Calliope.

And yea that game annoyed the hell out of me with the Calliopes and all the artillery. Way too much in my opinion. But then again thats just the view from a person who fell victim to it. To you who was dishing it out it was probably a blast.

There really is no way to counter a calliope, they are highly mobile and are always well protected by at and anti inf.

Hopefully when offmap abilities start playing a role in EiRR then the calliope wont be such a safe way to totally annihilate then axis.
Can't wait to drop some recon near a shooting calliope and then firestorm the hell out of it multiple times.(pay back will come some day.  Grin )

Not to say your not a good player though wiking, your quite good.

calliopes aren't that OP. There are a lot of other things that need to be "fixed" before you try and "fix" the calliope, which IMO doesn't need any fixing.

the calliope is the only "oh fuck" unit the allies have really. I'm sorry but i dont feel sorry for the axis when you've got jagdpanthers, panthers, stuh's, tigers, king tigers, tiger ace etc ok. So we have one awesome tank to your 5...
