Newegg.com

Do some research, figure out what you like, read reviews to find what you might need to expect... done.

It is so much better to build a PC from scratch than buying one stock. Though for the new build I'm making I will scrap some parts from my old PC, that was bought for me and I upgraded the graphics card, and put them in until I get enough cash to finish it. When I compare cost to performance of my build with some piece of shit PC I could buy, it shows that it is far better to build one.

If you want things to be cheaper and easily overclocked go AMD, if you want better performance at safe levels of speed then go Intel. I'm an Intel man myself.

SLI is good, mainly for the coolness factor, but it has great performance if you use two cheaper cards rather than one, million dollar one.

Actually, 2 cheap cards on SLI ends up costing more and being worse than a good card....

And cost to build your own vs cost of store bought has changed, store bought is cheaper by far.

You know why its cheaper? Because has sucky shit. I said cost/performance not cost/shit.

SLI is good if you know what to look for.

SLI and Crossfire are not useful tools compared to getting a single card if a single card will do. The single card is cheaper for the performance almost 100% of the time.

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.
