Now I noticed something about the halftrack, my entire squad dies in it almost always, I had five of them, and only one of the five had survivors.

Has there been any changes to the survival mechanic, if so, what?

They said they changed it so it was fixed at 40% survived, but maybe i read it wrong

Lost entire squads several times.  I almost always try to bailout first though.  Sometimes they diehalf wayout.  They tendto drop they special weapons too.

Is it just me or was this a problem in an earlier version too? (40% survival rate somehow equates to EVERYONE DIES allatime)

If u got 2 squads in it let's say double pzgrens, they are 6 man, so -60% means that 2 of them should survive, so one squad can die.

It's just my theory.

It's just my theory.

However, 6 percent of a 3/4 man squad means one of my men should survive.

Perhaps its just bad luck, since bigger guns are shooting at the HT's now, maybe one guy is survviving, but then gets WTF PWNED by the splash damage of the weapon the killed the half track.  Is that even possible?  Might explain how my guys always get out and die just intime to drop their shreks/special weapons.

don't use infantry in halftracks (except in special cases shreks to hunt down damaged tanks) let them walk beside ([ironie]how it is intended[/ironie])

and i think the halftrack has the critical table of the old halftrack too...makes them blow up by a single AT gun shot with 90% health (frontal)

It might be a 40% survival rate rather than a 40% perma-live rate. For instance it'd work like a crit chance on a per unit basis, meaning the chance of a three man squad getting insta-raped by a dead halftrack is roughly 22% - not impossible at all.

I had 2 squads of FJ in an IHT, took 1 hit from a 57 while flanking a position, insta died, killed every single man.

I have not had a squad live through an exploding IHT yet. On the other hand, they are retardedly effective vs infantry, with 2 FJ (2 men) in an IHT driving into the middle of a rifle blob and killing them all.
