Well after like a year of no patches we r about to get one massive patch from relic for retail COH.

There are quite some unit nerfs, the infantry halftrack doing 25% less damage to infantry in light cover for example.
Hope they will adjust the cost for EiR.

Im happy about ranger/Airborne fireup get 10 seconds of exhaustion after use. Which will result in slow rate of fire and moves slower for duration of exhaustion.

It has been unofficially released already.
Don't install it or EiRR will no longer work.
This update disables mods and -dev completely.

Also the vast (I mean 95%) amount of the changes will not affect us.
The only changes that WILL, are those to (some but not all) the weapon files. Changes within the EBPS, SPBS, Upgrades, and Abilities will not affect us. Certain weapons will not be affected either, (like the Panzerfaust, Gewehr 43, PE Armoured Car,) while others will be (like the .30cal, the PE Infantry Halftrack MG.)

Won't relic online make us download it automaticly? Cos if we don't we wont be able to get on relic online.

EDIT:

I think some of the changes would be nice to av in the mod like the ranger/airborne exhaustion after use and the few others.

I swear relic has took some of the changes from EIR:R like the Stormies getting surpression recovery increased to match grens and a few others. Tongue

Not to impress with something they could have done ages ago. The fixes are arguably more to PE and British, which was poor game design on their part in the first place and should never be released until the problems are solved.

So how do we play EiR without having to download the patch?

And guess this weekend is gonna be spent by the dev team hunting down all the bugs the new patch brings?

I saw 1 change in there that will help with bren guns - less men alive in squad = reduced buttoning effect.

- Fixed issue where garrisoned squads inside the 250 Halftrack would receive area of effect damage when they should not.

No more fear of Rifle nades..

nope. actually they dont, at guns can win a cloaked pak vs at gun match now...i've done it several timse and schrecks still miss, before it was 100% by both, it was insane.
