in the new patch the faust has its damage reduced by 50%

change in mu should be made to him now i suppose? cut in half?

I don't see the need to follow vanilla balance on this one... If you hit someone with a volley of Fausts in EiR, they deserved it (or you deserve it for clever maneuvering).

I dissagree. Avoiding a faust is not like avoiding a sticky.

Dont think the price should be changed. Fausts are for finishing off vehicles, so long as penetration hasnt changed, that faust will still kill a 10% sherman, etc. ect.

If faust damage reduction is implemented, the price must be switched accordingly.

I never said something shouldnt be changed. Mabey give the faust an extra use.

God forbid Axis get more AT, especially on a unit that is almost universally considered "safe" to engage with a sherman

At the same time it can't be so cheap. Like sticky bombs are 80 for 3? or 4? At one point someone proposed 20 mun for 1. That allows every single rifleman to have stickybombs - almost a nobrainer decision.

Fausts can't be so cheap that every volks can pack 1; since faust is pretty easy to get off. It has to be expensive enough that you have to make a decision to put it on.

And remember; we don't have to follow vCoH  balance anymore ^.^ That cardinal rule has been broken.

I'd say increase it's usage, I've never had a problem as allied with fausts, at least not enough to where I said "damn these need to do 50% less damage" 25% I could maybe see, but why did they reduce it to 50%.

Its not 50% less damage, its 50% less off of the modifier (2x or something) that the faust gets against American tanks. It ends up being an insignificant amoun of damage iirc.

^ yeah what he said, it's a modifier decrease, not the actual damage decrease. The modifer was 2.25, so i guess they changed it to 1.625
