I see that the new patch is out. does EIRR work if we patch vcoh? I also saw that there were files to update in the launcher, I assumed it was connected to the new vcoh patch. But yeah, just let us know if we can patch and still play EIRR.

nothing works yet, to my knowlage. EIRRmod was working on it but had to go to work. I assume it will work tomarrow.
Since relic online makes you patch, I think we're out of luck.

I've not been on vent, but I assume thats the case. As it was earlier, bout 4-5 oclock eastern time US.
Edit: Launchers pretty deserted too.

you dl the patch, EIR doenst work anymore. but you cant play online without dlin patch anyway so just dl it.
modders workin hard gettin EIR working again. ive heard it takes a day or two...

I actually have the problem sorted (mostly, I cant test) - I am just wrestling with issues on my Main Data HDD and cant get COH to f**king patch.

Well now the wait for me is no problem. I tried installing the patch and was told I have to reinstall coh. Well slap my tits I don't know where in the hell my coh dvd is. So I had to rebuy the game (opted to get it from D2D) so I didn't have to go to the store to get it tomorrow (and possibly lose the dvd in the future) and thankfully I got OF from D2D so everything will be safe on my HD. It's quite frustrating because I'm big on sound and was most excited for the new sounds they put in =( Fucking relic, I swear. Whoever on vent was joking about getting lucifer eating their keyboard must have been reading the disappointment as I tried installing the patch >_<

if you get the installer error 10242 it could be that you changed your OS without reinstalling COH then you need to add into your windows registry Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Company of Heroes]
"DisplayName"="Company of Heroes"
"UninstallString"="\"C:\\Program Files\\THQ\\Company of Heroes\\Uninstall_English.exe\""

Steam actualy updated it when i wasn't looking. The game works fine for me. But this break is letting me do stuff like homeowkr that i wouldn't normaly be doing I guess. So its ok.

Make sure you test online - not just locally - RelicOnline is identifying OMG's Platoons as "UNauthorized Cheats" with their new hack detection system and disabling them without SCARing or ending the game. Think you guys do things that same way we do so you'll likely run into that as well, it sounds like it might require a recode to get around the new cheat system

Make sure you have 6GB free in the hard drive before you patch. |
