There's also the idea that brit vet sucks compared to oh say, spending PP on advantages or doctrine abilities.
Brit Vet is better than most other vet. It makes their infantry even more untouchable than before - I played a 20 minute game with my initial Bren squad still on thanks to the self-heal. LTs self-healing at vet 1 is amazingly useful, and Captain starts becoming untouchable.
British tanks, however, generally suck, making the vet kind of pointless (can only buff a piece of crap so far :p)
