Seems that again everyone whines about OPness even if they never actualy saw, and tested it life.
How about using observation? They clearly have the ability to seriously destroy that target. When a mortar can three shot a bunker, you are doing it wrong. |

Guys calm down with the balance speculation. Observation is just making the unit stationary and increasing its sight. Artillery Spotter is an upgrade that costs 150 munitions. And a mortar takes 30 seconds to fire 3 shots.

I doubt this is command and conquer. Some historical reference apply even for coh. So i guess there will be two different fronts, that have nothing to do with each other..or not :p |

Which is not historically accurate (as far as land battles go) in fact in the dying days of the war the germans were withdrawing to the american postions while still fighting the soviets. If hitler was killed earlyer and Rommel put in charge the germans may well have fought on with the americans and british against soviets. |

yea i heard Rommel was known for being a respectful general especially in war, and despised nazi politics. since you know, Wehrmacht wasn't allowed to be involved in politics.
Rommel was also a terrible strategist, he would've lost faster against the Russians. Hitler had the right strategy for the eastern front more or less. |

Rommel would have been a figure head, so to speak, so that the western allies had a leader they could both respect, trust and work with effectively. Speer would probable be left in charge of the government, as all the people about his level in the government would have been to involved with hittler and the Jew/Slave killings. The forced labour would have continued for a while. The wehrmacht would have been left to run the war. Hitler had the right strategy...yes that the soviets where the real threat to the west. But his strategy of not yeilding ground to the soviets cost him the war (besides declaring war on america, not invading England est, not producing jet fighters in 1939 est est est), they could have bleed russia to the end if they tried to hold a line along that river in the ukraine (the dubue or somthing like that). Remember he would have done this befor stalinegrade and kurkusk. |

I doubt they will make a mod around speculation and ifs, as the east and west front had nothing to do with each other on the field, likewise one could expect that in the east front the allied player slots are all russians fighting for the motherland against pe and wehr.  |

Hitler had the right strategy for the eastern front more or less. i think u got that wrong games guy rommel was actually a very good tactician i mean if he wasn't wtf who the hell commanded the germans in the desert against larger british forces. oh and u got to remember that the russians did get alot of british and american equipment like aircraft and tanks etc. |
