If YOU had half a brain you would choose American Armoured as your faction, and get a Brit reinforcement package cause atm there is nothing in particular that screams decent on the Brit unit list.

If YOU read the thread, you would realise that the players are playing British factions, and are not debating whether or not to start again. The question is related to the 6 pounder ATG, and how some players do not find it's survivability as high as it's counterpart, the 57mm. My suggestion is, if they want the survivability of the 57mm then they should choose the Armoured Company Reinforcment package as it includes 2 57mm ATGs that can be used in either a replacement, or in conjunction with the 6 Pounder.

So take you insults some place else Brad, We've nearly had enough of you.

One more reason to get that Armoured Company Reinforcement package then?

I'm going to more clearly state my position on reinforcement packages, just for the record, not expecting any change.

They should not exist. They degrade the uniqueness of companies, and ironically their diversity. They have highly negative effects on balancing, because armies have to be balanced to include parts of other armies. They create excuses for some factions to suck (because they can still rely on reinforcement packages) and conversely can reduce the need for allied teamwork (you can add reinforcements for the specialist troops you want). They massively increase the power difference between a new player's company and a PP whore's company, increasing the problems for a new player trying to break into EiR.

Just putting it out there.

lol, yeah.. just found out that some innominate player has blitz + blitz reinforcements... you'd have to SEE that Stormtrooper blob Lips sealed

However, my company is being rapidly changed with reinforcements I've chosen too...

The Idea VarientThirteen, (originally) was to create a secondary doctrine which you could advance up.

ATM, we have a 'dummy' package, which allows diversification - or, specialising.

However, the implementation is such that there is no real reason to choose the same reinforcement package as your own doctrine, because the benefits are too weak.

For example, the intention for an Airborne doctrine player, could cross-reinforce, or focus by choosing Airborne again (adding more Airborne into his in-reserve and in-supply).

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

This thread is starting to Rivel the PaK thread.  Calm down and use it.

It takes some practice, but I've used the 6 pounder alright.

If all you have is a 6lber and its being shot at.  Well your in trouble.  I know we (in he PaK thread) just went over that L2P is not a valid argument, Well it might be actualy, But assuming its not, just use the darn thing.  Brits still have plenty of good anti tank, and they are the only people who have even a chance of making an enemy tank stay in the field of fire of thair ATGs.

Gosh i should be doin homework.
