just played a game on crossroad, 2 wehr vs 2 brits.
the axis were on the winning side until...  PIAT BLOB moved in.
the piats shoot over buildings and hedges killing your tanks that are covering from AT guns. which the brits now have too (6pdr) so axis tanks now have double trouble.
and all this happens while the piats are repairing their damaged tanks. piats are repair units, no fighters. this was before no problem becouse this was all the AT brits had. but with the new 6 pdr, axis tanks have a much harder job in finding a right spot to be really usefull.

the piats should become much less powerfull, or the 6pdr shouldnt be able at all to penetrate axis front armor.
right now the brits have way too much AT from all forms, while repairing their anti inf churhils (got to say in this game the cromwall had way too good aim)

Lets see, brits have the following AT:
6pdr, 17pdr, PIATS, buttoning

Wher has:
pak, shreck, fausts, panther

PE has:
marder, shreks, at nades, AT halftrack

US has:
zooks, 57's, stickies, RR's

Seems like brits have the same different number of choices for AT...

You forgot the STuG and 88mm for Wehr.

And the 88, Panther, Hetzer for PE.

But yea, Brits have too many AT choices...and Brens don't damage tanks =)

you dont get the point: brits previously had only piats that can shoot over buildings, quite handy. but the axis tanks didnt have to be behind buildings becouse brits didnt have 57s. now they do have, so brits have 2 totally different kinds of AT = not good for axis armor

Ok...

I would say that ANY AT is not good for armor. I would also say that Wehr tanks get SKIRTS that lower damage from EVERYTHING by a good amount.

Then you also get the REPAIR BUNKER which repairs faster than any other unit in the game.

Seriously, so now you are whining because you can't sit behind buildings? How is this different than US players with Stickies?

what the hell do you think? skirts? repair bunker?. so i know some more: lets have the firefly kill a tiger in 2 shots! the tiger can move to the repair bunker anyway!  Lips sealed

Wehr could do something similar.

Panther + RB + Flame Pio's. And the Flame Pio's cost less and repair faster.

You have AT + AI + Repair.

And flames kill Tommies and Sappers really fast.

Replace Panther with Tiger for more lulz.

For reference, I personally liked Brits before and saw no reason to bring the sapper limit down to 6, but I guess they work okay now, too. PIATs have been nerfed four times, there's no way you can ask for more. If I see PIATs nerfed again I will be seriously annoyed.

Tommies and Sappers have Solider classed armour, which makes them highly vulnerable to flame attacks.
