It seems like the first strike bonus of 10x penetration and 1.25x damage lasts for three shots now.  This was never the case.  The pak first strike bonus in the history of CoH has only ever lasted one shot.  It remained camoed for three shots, but the damage/penetration bonus was only for the first shot.

Is this a bug or is this intentional?

Game experience, I looked at the RGD but the cloak was way too complicated for me to figure out. Tongue

Also lucifer said he was going to make it last three shots I think a few days ago, because he thought the cloak gave it the penetration/damage bonus for three shots, which is not the case.

The cloak was to last 3 shots, and if there was extra damage on one or three shots, that was going to remain status-quo.

The pak is now a completely different animal.

useless because it cannot turn...useless because of that much arty...and useless because if you want to "dodge" arty you have included another delay to make it even more difficult with support weapons

exactly who will use this expensive unit (400MP 140mun compared to e.g. 6pnd 380MP 110Mun) to be overrun by a riflesquad and taken over by a half one, for scouting?

just remove it and let axis fight tanks using volksgrenadiers

lol at pak scout. I remember one game a teamate moved his pak for scouting purposes. Smart move cause it was overun and captured by rifles. Grin

I think youre confusing pak aggressive use with scouting.

precision strike isnt undogable, ive yet to be hit by one, it has smoke and a massive delay from teh smoke, with its single precise shot its easy to dodge, not like it could randomly hit you while you leave.

as i already said, it had the cloak ability because of allied arty which will shoot it when a sherman detects it when flanking
