Humans are great because they imitate whoever looks powerful...
Please tell me that I'm misinterpreting something here.

some people who have no clue about history and do not know that a dictatorship is by far the most powerful and at same time most dangerous government should really shut up, because all they do is to disparage people that tried to survive and to save the the life of their families
and btw: history is always made by winners

You can't just say German and Jap soldiers were evil to defend their homelands.
Not everyone or anyone had the internet in the forties.
I read a book called "Panzer battles" by a German commander Von Mellenthin and in it he states that he was ashamed when after the war he learned the wrongs of the prison camps. And at the end of the book he gives tips about things the west should do against the rising red army.
German soldiers captured were often robbed the instant they were marched off the front lines and then kept in prisons and were beaten and starved.
Loads of soldiers were not fighting because of hate either. I read an account from a 16 y/o 88 AA gunner who said he him and the other young men would sometimes rush out and entertain downed pilots till they were taken away.
I am however, not trying hide the real wrong things that were done I am just saying that Germans during WW2 were not all evil.

Right, so that justifies war as something to be perpetuated.

War is a necessity, because someone will always try to use force, and only force can counter force.

War is not a necessity, were not living in a jungle. And if our state of being is to be degraded in such a way as to mimic animals in an war of all against all, there wouldnt be any reason to have a discussion when everything can be negated by such an arbitrary reason.

war is only to make moneh , they got money they got power , they make more wars to uphold it.

I quote schutlzz, germans were those who invaded Poland and Czechoslovakia. Don't think they need to be defended. And you can't leave apart wehrmacht and its generals (even if not nazis) who agreed to invade and attack weaker countries.
Well I am happy that germans failed twice in the 20th century, and I hope they learnt the lesson.

Yes italians were pathetic to be honest, glad those fascists were because I wouldn't stand their governement. At least they were not the monsters german nazis were in world war 2, even if they weren't gentle either.

People tend to forget that the reasons behind WW2 go back to how Germany and her people were treated by what became the Allied nations after WW1. I would say that the average German was fighting to bring Germany back as a country. Most of the officers fought in WW1, and everyone remembered the way they were treated. Germany was basically destroyed economically following WW1 and was stripped of its military.
Mind you, WW1 was not a war they started either.
So I think that, at the beginning, the people were fighting for what they saw as the liberation of the German people as a whole, including those of Germanic descent in other countries.
As for the armies of liberation, yea, because the United States, Britain, and the Soviets were all lovely people, who never took land from anyone, and never in recent history....oh wait, they did. The Brits were finally losing their world wide Empire as slave states managed to gain freedom, the Soviets had just started their expansion, and the US took an interest outside its own borders again leading us to where we are now.
Oh yes, and war is required, because there will always be someone, or some group, or some nation, willing to resort to open force to get what they want.

When those with the sword kill those with the plough they must take up the plough themselves or they shall soon starve.
