Im playing some allies atm and i wonder which reinforcements would be better.
Im Vehicle heavy and thinking about either going for airborne to take out heavy tanks or commandoes to bumrush paks or grab shrecks.
Suggestions?

This may sound crazy, but go for the armour reinforcement pack

If your all about using lots of tanks and infantry for overwhelm tactics, then getting more availability on Sherman and Riflemen will help you more than expensive, low availability units.

Actually availabilty is no issue 1 pp for an extra sherman or an extra sniper doesnt hurt too much.

Yes, but your company won't benefit much from another package, if your about whelming. Getting a the Para or Commando package will give you units with a high cost. Where as, adding availability to your current setup will give you more flexibility in the amount of armour or infantry you bring without affect your PP gain, which can be spent on advantages and off maps, further strengthening your force.

Most people (including myself) make the mistake of grabbing a reinforcement package for more of a novelty reason then practical.

Choosing between paying 30 PPs for 2 - 3 more availability on units (Paying for these through availability and some conservative play will cost you no more than 10 PPs) or getting unique new units that will fill gaps in your company setup is an easy call tbh.

I'd go for armor reinforcements, buy those extra shermans, quads and engineers - basicaly 4 PP for the engineers, which always die, saved per game. They always pay off for themselves in full, though, with their low cost. 2 PP per game for the 2 Quads would also help. Extra 2 PP for shermans too... So, yeah, going armor for a net 8 PP per game pay-off(with overwhelming tactics shit dont' last long) could be useful. Commandos aren't that good tbh - a ranger will do it all and more, and having the current tetrarch is a bit of a waste tbh. Mando mortar won't work with overwhelm tactics...

Yes, but they are expensive and have little to no anti-infantry capabilities

the carbine is actualy quite more capable than you'd think - won't stand up to STG44s or MP40s, but any rifle-based troop will die fast and hard, and you just can't say no to a nuclear pineaple.
