I would be pretty happy to see a reward system in place for killing high vetted units.
It would provide a much higher level of competition into the game, would finaly clear up the whole "vethunting is faggyish" dillema, and would be very, very unique. I'm mostly saying this because I don't have any vet, but it would be freaking pwnsome to have bounties and rewards onto killing vetted units. We could even make it not only the devs handing out the rewards, but the community as well : "smokaz gives 25 PP for whoever kills dnicee's stormtroopers", then MgAllun kills that unit, and the devs deduct 25 PP from smokaz and give them to MgAllun! That would really add another fun layer to it all!

The biggest problem I see with instigating more encouragement to kill high vet units is that it can potentially lead to people building smurf accounts specifically designed to kill unit X or Y, meaning they won't care whether they win or lose as long as they get to kill that unit. (I.e 4 M10 call in to kill a panther, etc etc )
The emphasis of this game should still remain winning games above anything else.

let them, if they want it that much - but give the reward only to standard accounts, smurf accounts specificaly designed to kill unit X or Y wouldn't count.

4 m10's couldnt kill a well used and supported panther No combination of units unit can really kill any unit that is well supported and well used. However, 4 M10s, especially after their recent vcoh buff, have a pretty good shot at a panther. |
