I'm just curious if you guys were going to keep the 4 branch doctrine system from before. where each doctrine had 4 T4s or if you guys were going to do something different.

Just tell us where eir is headed. We all know 2.6 patch wont be here for another year; i'd rather sit and think about what we're gonna have instead of sitting there waiting for a game no one will join cos' they're scared. I'm losing motivation for this mod tbh.

And a good part of that is the epic w/l ratio.  No one wants to play a game they think they'll lose... Just get rid of the stats, more games for everyone (or almost everyone).

I find it easy to get a game, just join a game on the side of a new player that started it and average to worse people will usually join as enemies. Usually really good players start their own games and don't bother to mess yours up.

I don't understand the point of secrecy in this. Give people a choice of a surprise, don't force them into it. Some people could not care less for surprises; those that do could simply not look at info pertaining to doctrines.

No point in secrecy i agree, but we are working on 1st fesibility of abilities, then we need to look at them and test them in game.

Additionally we need make sure they are themed right.

No point in posting up ideas only to take them down and say sorry they don't work.

So when we have done the intial development work
you will see them and then im sure you all will have opinions on it.

Once they're physically able to be implemented into the game, post them and get criticism/props before they're released fully, perhaps, on a feature-by-feature basis?

I know it's annoying to get yelled at over things that haven't even been played with yet, but preemptively weeding out some bad ideas that you guys don't catch might be worth it *cough cough tank reapers cough*

Tank Reapers isn't a bad idea, it's pretty much a staple American doctrine T4. The bad idea was the number being 70% for the bonuses
