i killed a couple of times your (USVCorps ingame) howie (after i was to annoyed by obvious very frequently barrages) and surprisingly i found a bunch of engeniers around it
you mostly tried to "save" the crew by crew retreat and that what was running away where engineers too 

you just did not perfect abused that "bug" by sandbagging off the howi and make the crew retreat->recrew with same crew but  you did it with engies and rifles
