i liked the idea of the officer getting an stg44, but i dont think an officer would use one of those lol.
but the reason the officer was given a better weapon was because all his vet comes from himself, capt and LT dont need better weapons because they get vet from others.

Why not? The officer is smart, and he has access to everything - if there's STG44s available, he'll sure as fuck get himself an StG44 and not a crappy ass MP40.

Well, i had a British Captain pick up a LMG42 and hold off two squads of grenadiers with shrecks and one squad of plain volks - Heavy cover ftw.
Now i've turned Americans though, and are enjoying it more.
