I have the immense ammount of 2 BARs in my entire company. On both my allied accounts, actualy.

Honestly, riflemen are rather useless to buy BARs on, tbh - I'll rather spend my munitions on some quads and flamer engineers. They're at least somewhat cost effective.

lets see

- mp40 70 mun on volks -> way to expensive
- shrek 125mun (avg) on grens -> to expensive
- skirts 90mun on panther and 80mun on panzerIV -> to expensive and got nerfed
- volks availability = 8 -> not enough compared to 14 rifleman -> grens needed

=>
grens without anything = fail, nades on grens = fail ergo grens get lmg42

I don't know how you can compare SKIRTS with BARs and LMGs, but, ok...

Skirts give you a 50 percent chance to bounce stickies, as well as give you a 25 percent decrease in recieved damage and penetration from every single AT weapon in the game. Seems like an OK upgrade for 80-90 mun to me.

120-130 munitions cost on shreks doesn't really stop anyone from spamming them endlessly.

You've already said you don't buy volks with MP40s anyways, so there's no point in claiming their availability is low.

Grens without anything > rifles without anything by far.

Tbh vetted grenadiers seem as good as barred riflemen in terms of firepower, while vetted rifles are just lol against unvetted lmg grens. I just can't get why bars are bit more expensive, without suppressive fire lmg wins at any time, and suppressive fire isn't effective on green cover/long range, while the lmg is effective 24/7. I think 75-75 or 80-80 is ok. But there is an odd 5 munition difference.

LMG is not 24/7 good.
The biggest gripe with the LMG is that you can't use lmg grens aggressive.
Plus it sucks at long range and gets outdamaged by a K98 in that matter.

we discussed that so often...

lmg42:
- one lmg42 75mun
- can suppress on close distance when units are not in cover and there are many lmg42 firering
- not able to be used on the move => each lmg removes 25% firepower on a moving gren squad=> defensive weapon

BAR:

-two BARs for 80mun
- get a 360° supression function (on cooldown) that can pin even units in cover
- can shoot on while moving and can be successfully used as assault and defensive weapon

I don't know how you can compare SKIRTS with BARs and LMGs, but, ok...

because skirts is a munition based upgrade that extends your company with additional (defensive) anti infantry capabilities (e.g. panzerIV vs rangers/airbornes/piats)
but they are not cost effective so it is better to build a company with 2 more flamer pios for a skirt upgrade or use an additional lmg42 to stop the blob

and according the volks...you need them for recrewing like you need rifles for recrewing (recrewing with grens is fail => to expensive and only 4 men)...so you could maybe get for 2 mp40 to have 6 recrew volks
but mp40 is to expensive and get no good basic unit for an assault weapon and get a crap accuracy modifier while moving and assaulting

yea caus u have 6 RR ABs? and 4 quads? and upgunned/ cal50. shermans? and bars are FREAKING cost effective

You've heard something about my company, but never actualy seen it, clearly.

BARs aren't cost effective whatsoever - all they do is suppress, in which case they've lost their killing ability, or they try and kill, in which case they're outgunned. There's just no point having them.

Unless you are infantry, because you need somthing to counter axis superior infantry/stuff, even if it is a soft a counter, but I agree it's not really cost effective, you rarely see more than 4-5 kills on a riflesquad in a game, if you're lucky.

Axis will always have more kills than allies. 4-5 kills means 1 dead gren squad. So they already were successful for their cost.

4-5 kills when you're lucky, and it depends on the squad. A unit who rarely kills his worth in resources is not cost effective imho.

First you said rarely more than 4-5 and now you say rarely 4 - 5. Changing your "facts" in order to counter my arguments won't help.

And i can't say that my lmg grens get more kills either, sure there are some times where i get a lot kills on one but then again allies have more men per squad.
