Vet1 is 25
Vet2 is 100
Vet3 is 200
buffs (nothing too special):
Sherman Firefly (0.4)
-Vet1 Received Damage 0.85
-Vet2 Accuracy 1.15, Received Damage 0.9
-Vet3 Damage 1.2, Reload 0.9
IMO i think vet2 and vet3 are too high. I'd suggest lowering it to 80 and 170 respectively. The Firefly is a good tank capable of getting high Xp but the fact is it only kills Tanks and other light vehicles and won't kill infantry like a panther with an MG upgrade or panther or most other heavy tanks (but a jagd). It also doesn't survive too well due to no skirts or armour, not that it's meant to be a frontline tank.
discuss... I think it's pretty self explanatory that is should be reduced a little but i'm sure axis fanboys will say its the best thing ever or something.
P.S increase pershing vet.

Nah joking, the vet requirements are indeed to high for the Firefly, it's the same as the Pershings and you can't compare them, because the Firefly is a glass canon. I'm up for decreasing it, Vet 2 to maybe 70? And Vet 3 to 125 or something.
The Firefly relies too much on the CCT to be any good in a bigger tank battle.

The faster firing is all up to the CCT. The CCT buffs fire rate especially for the Firefly (i think it's 0.8 reload for all tanks, and 0.75 for firefly), and the CCT also buffs range. That's what its meant to do and you can see that especially in VCoH games. Survivability Buffs are always a must, especailly at vet1 and damage buffs at vet3 are a good standard, like with most units on EIRR. Anyway i only wanted to put one point there the vet XP requirement, and hopefully it can be lowered in the next patch. |

i got 7 tank kills in a 3v3 with firefly and that was worth 100xp from 0. Vet 2 in 1 game, and my ff had 5% vs 20% panther 100% p4 and 80% p4, i owned them all. micro helps.

i have the replay kthxbye could you link to the replay? i absolutely hate british tanks, and am horrible at using them. I hate them so much that I try to keep tanks out of my UK battalion. I'd like to see a replay with FF's being used well. |

Eh.. Firefly is the most powerful antitank tank in the game w/support. The jagd is a pile of shit.
1. Keep CCT in range
2. Always keep max distance with firefly regardless
3. Button Support
4. Never use it offensively or move it against the enemy, always back it up
5. Use other spotters than

Firefly is the sexiest tank ever and if you use it right it doesn't ever die. Except to surprise stormtrooper buttsecks. Other than that... I guess managing to run it into a mine and then being bumrushed might do it. The only problem with CW tanks is the fact they're made to need the CCT to do anything, without having a cost/pop decrease to make up for it. CCT can also fuck up pathing of ff/from if you don't micro it right, but that's usually not a problem. IIRC both cromwell and ff fire as fast as a PzIV... WITH the cct  |
