@Smokaz: It's penalizing players who win more, so if a player who would normally win more (ie Gamesguy, as he is skilled) decides to lose to enjoy a highly vetted company with full PPs for his matches, stuff gets fucked up. In addition, the fact that players who win more get penalized while those that lose more get bonuses is fucked up. The latter is ok, but the former isn't.

Is Akranadas in this thread? Fucker can't stop bragging about his "waifu taldeer" and cosplaying in an eldar farseer costume while shouting "Flithy monkeighs!" interspaced with random eldar gibberish.

It's a lot like the vCoH system. If you are a high level and you lose to a low level, you get effed.

The real problem is that if you are a high level and you win against a low level, you barely gain anything. This is fine in CoH with matchmaking and a monstrous playerbase, but terrible here where you will never see more than 50 people online (counting people in games).

I remedied this problem by switching from my CW battalion to my US battalion, now my US battalion will be getting more PP, and in a few days when more players are rank 2-4 ill go back to my CW battalion and start getting 10 PPs again.

Although I think it could be tweaked a little. If you are 1 rank below, you should get more PPs. If you are one rank above, you should still get 10. If you are 2 ranks below you get even more PPs, if you are 2 ranks above THEN you start getting less PPs.

Riki's way to handle it is the correct one, imo. Just switch to allies from axis or the other way around if one of your companies are growing "too big" and then get back on it if similarily ranked players come online.

That's why I advocated making a second account for playing to vet.

EDIT: I still think this system is shite. Penalizing players who do well to make the playing field even is very bad. Instead you should give (more) bonuses to the worse players. There is absolutely no reason I should be penalized for being a good player, nor anybody else. Not fucking one.

How does you knowing I'm good affect ANYTHING in this topic? Even if I'm terrible, there is still no reason for PEOPLE TO BE FUCKING PUNISHED FOR PLAYING WELL.

Also.. to the rest of you in this thread.. quit being so freakin' selfish and think about how the worse players feel when you whine about how 'awesome' you are and how little advantage you get over them.. if any. Grow up.

We did it this we for a reason. Not so you could lord yourselves over everyone and establish your massive e-penis. If you feel you get penalized for playing well.. then go throw some games and see if it actually gives you an advantage.

I'm not entirely sure if I understand what you're saying, but if you're saying what I think you're saying, give them extra bonuses to compensate for removing punishments.

"No reason to try and get better guys, feel good about not playing so well, here, have some bonuses!"

Yea, thats a great way to setup a competitive game, that would be like playing in a sports tournament and having them remove some of your players because you are a better team....

I've figured it out, the devs are pursuing a communist agenda! Everyone shall be mediocre if they have to force it!

I don't think you get it.. We're not giving you a bigger bonus just because you are better. The bonus you get is YOU ARE THE BETTER PLAYER.

It has nothing to do with that.

I'm going to make a vet company just to show what happens when you do nothing but try to vet and lose every game.

How is this any better than the current situation?

If you want a purely competitive game then maybe you should play only competitive players.

Believe it or not.. a massive amount of our community play for recreation.

@gamesguy: what faction will you play as? I really wish to make a vet company myself (because vet is the most fun part of EiRR to me), but as I've said before I don't want to piss other people off, so if I could play on my vet acct when you do that would be great.
