4 in supply is way to much only because of the relic burst bug.

people are buying all 4 because they chew through the support weapons + rifles + surrounding elite infantry once the AT gun is mortared or sniped. it's insane the amount of kills these things can get just from being on the field for a few minutes.

I know relic is "in the process" of fixing the burst bug but until then, the ostwind, AC and pumas are extremely powerful.

Really? Facing ostwinds and pumas in my last two EiR games, I didn't really notice, even with the puma right in the middle of my tommy blob (unbuttoned)...

Why don't you see it from the american perspective?
Where your rifles can get killed in one burst or less without you can even hit retreat, and many times hitting t doesn't help at all. Expecially if the ostwind is capable of killing 2 men a hit sometimes.

Aloha your an idiot. you could have said something reasonable like 2 or 3. I never had a problem with them on my Allied AB unless i dropped on top of them, and then i got what i deserved. Granted i make extensive use of M10's and tend to not lose my 57's to needless things.

Actually they should stay at 4, because they are one of the few things that is effective against light armour/vehicle spam.
On the other note, someone with 4 Ostwinds can't have many other tanks.

stickies are absolutely worthless against ostwinds so you are forced to use elite infantry but armour players are forced to use at guns (if it hasnt been killed of course) or m10/hellcats.

"Forced to use"...

It's called a counter for a reason. Of course you need to get some AT on the field then, and not Infantry with AT.

Well the problem isn't the ostwind it self but the burst bug. Ostwind tends to own with this bug but what can be done?

Uhhh yes, obviously this was an extremely stupid mistake but it was towards the end of the game while I was playing brits..I had a blob of PIATs, brens and a couple LTs I think (All I had left to call in so it became a blob).  Tongue

Anyways, even with buttoning, ostwinds still all out own infy but the real problem is that 2 vehicles can just charge into a blob like that and own about 5 squads of infantry before I can even retreat, ahh yes I had 2 AT guns now that I think about it but they got insta killed by ostwinds, I really cant wait till relic fixes that burst bug  Undecided

you talk a lot of shit for never actually using your forum name as your eirr name.

and i dont have rangers or AB... which is why it blows the ostwind comes into range, AT gun hits it, it backs off, mortar + storms + somethin else kills at gun... then infantry gets raped by rapid fire ostwind. I have NO PROBLEM with ostwinds...only a problem with the shitty burst bug that causes them to be far more effective then they should be

you also might have bigger probs if u spam m8s, t17 and clowncars, but u wouldnt have any probs if u use them WITH ATGuns as support
