They are undetectable while using it. I had grenadiers run straight into cloaked M18s and not get them decloaked, I even put 2 of them in my enemies spawn, cloaked them, and a spawnbuff group of volks and grens ran around trying to uncloack them(ask baine about that), and it just didn't work.
Even motorcycles at point blank don't detect them.
Fix pl0x(don't remove, the M18 is quite useless without the cloak).

thats how it works in VCOH. I do agree it needs fixed though. Similar to hetzer cloak?

a bit off topic... but the first strike bonus the m18 gets is what? anyone has the stats on the gun, i couldnt find anything on the coh-stats page...

I dont really know tbh, I just know that it takes 50%HP away from an ostwind with a frontal shot when its cloaked rofl.

M18 has a really weird main gun. Sometimes it's utterly crud at penetrating, then sometimes it consistently penetrates a panther at medium range...

2x Penetration, 1.5x Damage.
The gun is pretty stupid, it penetrates P4s at medium range 100 percent of hte time, 90 percent at long range, and it doesn't penetrate anything else at all, heh. Light vehis don't count ^^.
It's pretty much a P4 hunter, rather than a proper tank hunter - fun to load up on these if you know you're up against someone with 5 P4s.

because the M18 hellcat makes against panzerIV and ostwinds with first strike 211damage an ostwind has 400HP => first hit take it down below 50%hp a panzerIV is taken down to 66% hp with first hit thats why i dont know why that thing is 270MP 150 fuel ridiculess cheap its damage against panzerIV and ostwind and panther is even without first strike at ridiculess high amount of 141damage and its penetration modifier of panzerIV is on 1.09 and ostwind even higher....that means it will penetrate these very often its almost doubled of a non upgunned sherman |

That thing costs nearly twice as much with the same dmg/survivability of the Hellcat. |

seems underpriced.. it dies as fast as an m10 but it deals much more damage and has cloak. i think everybody knows how useful m10s are...
mystalin never tells this kind of stats and fact in his posts and most of the players dont know how to look them up, sadly. (im too lazy too)

Same armour. I'm not going to check the CoH-stats page. Sturm is on vacation and people have complained to me that alot of stats are false. I used to work on the site.
It has the same armour and the same health, both in Retail and in EiRR. But, it has a larger hitbox, so weapons that scatter will have a slightly higher chance to hit.

The M18 Hellcat is a tank destroyer... meaning it should be effective at killing tanks and considering it can't cloak while moving and needs to actually be out of sight range of an enemy before it actually goes into camo meaning it can't camo in battle makes it only effective at DEFENDING or ambushing not attacking and considering its practically like a locked down pak I think its fine besides the cloak needing to be fixed which it was..
