Could I maybe get a sticky for this please? Thanks in advance.
Alright guys, the first shoutcast is done! I'll be using this thread to add all the shoutcasts that the community has done so there won't have to be a need to search all over the forums for them. I'm also should probably list the improvements/tips I guess for the next to come.
Shoutcast 1 - Pilot -
Ghouls in the Graveyard (Replay File) Main Host - Wild Zontar
Co-Host -IcelandicDictator
I'm also going to be writing down a list of problems/needed fixes for each and every shoutcast, doing so would allow us to improve on future shoutcasts. Feel free to post any other ones and I'll gladly edit them into this post.
Fixes/Problems.1. Ducking was enabled while I was recording, thus unable to hear the game sounds at times.
2. I had no buffering on my mic, thus allowing you to hear my mouse clicking.
3. My mic was way to loud and at times you wouldn't be able to hear Icelandic. You're also gonna want to turn down your volume down due to the excessive loudness.
4. Haven't been able to work on the intro recently, will get on that ASAP.
5. Don't try to talk over your co-host when he is stating something.
6. Need to either have icelandic boost his mic, or I'll have to do it manually/ Volume Fixes.
7. Informational, should desribe what certain units are needed for/best used against/costs/veterancy buffs/
Shoutcast 2 IN PROGRESS.
Main Host 8thRifleRegiment
Co-Host Malgoroth.
Tips to making a shoutcast1. Mic Volume - Make sure you have your mic set at a decent level so as to not over talk your co-host/game sounds or blow out the headphones of your listeners!
2. Ventrilo - Before you begin shoutcasting make sure you have all sounds for users disconnective/reconnective are turned off.
3. Recording - Use whatever software you want, but Groundfire had told me that in order to not capture your mouse clicks while you record, you should either put a buffer (ie: sock, etc etc) or move your mouse further away.
4. Ducking - As far as I know, I would recommend turning ducking off, allowing the viewers to hear the game sounds and the commentators all together, I think having either the game sounds too loud and your voice to low kinda make it hard to understand what is being said. A nice combination is needed between the two.

Anyways, I thought I might aswell share that, I'll add more later on if I find any more of use.
