Xfire

Hey guys, my xfire ingame doesnt work on my new comp on windows 7. Any ideas? It shows me as ingame but it won't let me talk ingame :/

Try starting it as admin, Solves most probs on win7.

Did u log in win7 as admin or did u run xfire as admin?. Stupid question but some people get confused you know.

i have administrator power, and i changed it in properties to always run as admin, yet still no joy.

g2g to work, keep the suggestions rolling in and ill try them and let you know if it worked later on, thx.

The Directx version you are using must be the same for both (CoH and X-Fire), my guess is that you are running CoH on Directx 10 and X-Fire is set to work with Directx 9.

right click icon. Go to priorities then to compatibility, switch it to something else. (vista service pack 2 etc.)

killer is probably right,

click in xfire tools -> options -> games -> click CoH -> ingame renderer: switch from DX9 to DX10

Xfire is pretty random for me man. I wouldn't worry too much. Does it still record if you are playing or not? Mine works randomly for the most part, alt tabbing and that usually messes it up too Sad
