Western Front Armies

So guys, what are your thoughts now it's officially out?

US feels a lot more like CoH1, OberKommando feels like Brits but with more powerful units, so far I've found both armies considerably more fun to play than either the Soviets or Ostheer personally.

It's nice to have sandbags and normal mines back in the game as well!

It needs a bit balance, but it's nice to play. Have someone unlocked the other 6 commanders ?

OberKommando's Sturmpioneers are incredible in early game, they wreck all other engineers and riflesquads as far as I can tell

The funny thing is that you can earn even 50 fuel for recovering wrecks Cheesy

The other less funny thing is when your teammate destroys your decrewed KT for 12 fuel :/

OberKommando has some annoying mid game kit, but US Airborne seems to be the only doctrine really worth it atm.

Armour is completely underwhelming (M10's and 105 Shermans are just... Meh. Sluggers and M4A3's are much more worth it) and from what Niko tells me Infantry is on the fence.

But Thompson AB? They wreck some serious face. Especially when you can reinforce in the field with a few well placed signal's or an ambulance.

I'll try out OberKommando a bit more and see how they play out proper, but I was never a fan of the Brit method of mobile bases. Their units were good fun (Hooray Brits!) but their construction methods were very gamey.
