Changes to Oversupplied (& other general)

Oversupplied would replace the Riflemen's SL's carbine with an M1 Garand instead of a third BAR. Instead of two failzookas, you'd get a bazooka and stickies for less of a cost then choosing the two seperately. Engies lose 1 squad member and gain a second flamepwner?
Squad leaders: Replace SL weapons with a Sten (CW), Thompson (US), MP40 (WM) or STG44 (PE) for all base squads (aesthetically; all weapons would have the same stats as a (respectively) Lee-Enfield, Carbine, Leader MP44, or PE Kar98k). For the case of WM, possibly make a model/skin of a Feldwebel (see the Blitzkrieg mod's Stormtrooper Officer, used a volksgrenadier model and a new skin and it worked quite well). My reasoning is, irl, squad leaders or junior officers (Unteroffizier [Cpl], Feldwebel [Sgt or "Field Sergeant"]) wore Kepi-style hats instead of steilhelms ,at least on the western front (which would be the uniform worn by volks, historically they look like a squad of 5 JCOs!).
Once the warmup hits the field

it might be a nice touch.

in reality i think oversupplied should work like this (in conjunction with the top T3 unlock that gives grease guns & such)
grease guns should be 55mu and rifles should only get 4, and over supplied should give 2 grease guns and 2 thompsons rather than 1 extra.

that would be pretty sweet actually. Who wants the extra grease gun, exchange it for thompsons.
Also OS is fine Volks. Infantry is one of the more balanced companies. The only thing that needs to be changed is allied grit which is crap

I only suggested it because Ive heard plenty of griping about 3 BARs. And it seems a bit overkill on the side of AI firepower. Im not trying to change it to how I like, and saying I am makes you the troll, not me. I'm suggesting this stuff to see if anyone else is interested in mostly aestetic changes; apparently I can go fuck myself for wanting a little something different. Sorry for posting at all, you can draw your C&C from thin air in that case.

I do. I pride myself on being able to pick out which squad picked up a single BAR or has a G43 by default within a blob (without seeing the icon; e.g. panicing or microing something intensively and instinctively going 'ffffff that squad has a g43, its more damaging, its my #1 priority target for my sherman/riflemen/MG/mortar/whatever'.
EDIT: this takes the place of a paragraph of me just beating around the bush. Trust me, youre not missing much.

I think what Mister (and correct me if I'm wrong) is saying is you're taking up "valuable" space by suggesting these pointless changes when most people are more concerned with balance changes and such.
tbh, dont get discouraged, there's bound to be an idea that people pick up on.

I like oversupplied as is, no need to make it more complicated with your proposed change. That path in US infantry is meant to focus on more Anti-Inf firepower.. hence the +bar and +smg, though I would like it if they add the single smg back to my bazooka rangers.

my only problem with over supply is the bar vs greaseguns, there isn't any real reason to get grease guns over bars unless you are being really cheap.

YOu would have to go over 4 inf to make up the difference. So for every 5inf with grease i got 4 with bars. 15 mu isnt a big difference. Especially when that 15 mu gets you suppress and longer range.
But ya ive been raped by mp40s when i had bars. So... maybe it has its place.
