You know, a pure DPS buff isn't the only option on the table.
You could try going the way of Tommys. The rifle is junk but it's made up for by having high survivability (For a mainline squad - 5 men 65 HP with Soldier Armour)

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

How about not going with a retarded idea of 5 man pgs or buffing their health so they're stronger than WM's grens and going for a more logical solution instead? They already are halfway-grenadiers

Why not make Panzergrenadiers turn into 5 man volksgrenadier squads...? They are basically 4 man volks as it is. Could love the fifth member  In a sense if they did become like normal grenadiers (240) they'd be only able to recrew 1 thing and be left with 1 guy left unlike other factions so their ability to cap weapons would be generally weaker if you go Tank hunters for instance or leave panzer pios and luftwaffe ground forces unpicked. |

this is about vs rangers, not discussion of pgrens in general. you have to zerg with them and they are pretty cheap. small boosts could bring them in line w/o busting balance.
