Remember kids, your brain is a muscle. Use it or lose it. Might as well use it on something that is mentally stimulating.

I like her reference to the positive benefits of drinking red wine. The right amount of wine consumed by the right aged person for an extended period of time increases life span.

If you look hard enough you can find games that are fun and educating at the same time, which is kind of fascinating considering video games im sure were never considered to be an effective medium for education.

Just last month I had to crack open an algebra book because I was playing KOTOR II and to get into the armory on Onderon the computer terminal lock had me answer 3 Algebra questions. Algebra questions in KOTOR. Only the last one gave me trouble, but still think of the positive implications.

nice vid.

years back I was arguing that completing civ2 on at least warlord setting - to space launch win, should be mandatory for any politician/gov employee to be even eligible for work. games and civ in particular can be such tremendous sources of wisdom, agility or perception etc.

Da'fuck is with the personal attack? I was simply stating that I think its great that games like this slip in math problems.

Everyone has their own experience with math and what you retain is dictated by how much you use it and obviously the last time you dealt with the material.

Quite frankly I could give a shit what you were doing at 10.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.
