Fun thread to brag and talk about your favorite core start and what units it involves, nothing else

I always start with MG, Mortar, AT gun, light vehicle, engie, and jeep.
But sometimes I start with a Pershing, rifle, and jeep.

it did alright against p4 starts, the Croc could handle them, it just took awhile.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Back in the day, 12 Terror Pio's defending, 12 Goliaths, 24 mines, some MG nests and flamethrowers on a couple, retreat rest after super fort is built, bring up PAKs, Nebel, HMGs. Have a party.
Was really fun on RTC, defending in depth, let the enemy into the town only to find it a death trap.

Raidborne!
3 with nothing, just to run in and get shot in the face, 1 with every upgrade, and 1 with nades and satchel. If I heard a vehicle, it would go up to 2 with everything. Raidborne was a hilarious company, I must say. The game is better off without shit like that, but I must say there
were
lulz, and no shortage of them. 20 pop worth of HMG nests, 1 flame engie to replace them, and crawl them forward, and 23 pop left to drop in an endless wave of AB...God, that oversupply mechanic was broken.

Ye Olde EiR saw me deploying multibunker pioneers (2 or 3 bunkers) an 88 a bunch of MGs, et c. on road to carentan.
But the most fun start? Conviction tiger/assault volk spam start.

Oh airborne with raid assualt or even just the old +6 pop so you could drop 36 pop on the field with a supply drop.
Owns every time
the old AK NEV combo in 4v4's on attack, the double early drop hit was devestating.

Oh damn, this reminds me of Superior Command + Tank Command OPness before it was nerfed to extreme expensiveness. It used to be so easy to overwhelm people at the start.

umm.. pretty much any Whermact start with a goliath is win, oh and the P4 with 6 Pio squads repairing it + Repair Bunkers is the other start.
The KT rollout is also lol. Just 1 KT and a couple of pio squads or something. Counters everything you have.

omg, raidborne was amazing. nothing was better then being on defense, bringing on engs to plant mines and demos and other defenses. Wait about... a full minute for the enemy to get on field, maybe do a recon so you know exactly what to expect, then drop behind of them, rape their entire starting call in, blow up all their support weapons. Get a croc ready to take on the KCHs they bring on. Fun times.

Fav start in EiR - 2xRRs, 2xNades airborne. Good old airborne elite - I went straight, no cheating oversupply bullshit!
Fav start in any incarnation of EiRR - 2 quads, 2 riflemen, full upgrades, 57mm.
Current fav start - 2 HMGs, a Mortar, an ATG, 2 core infantry(one anti-inf, one anti-tank upgrade). Applicable to US, wehr and Brits.

Well 2xpios with flamers/mines, pak, grens with lmg/shreck, mg, sniper is pretty much allround.
If u got offmaps like firestorm to take out atgs fast or at least make them them move : 1 pz4, mg, sniper. Good for a fast attack if ur enemy is defending.
R+ if u dont hear vehicles : 2xOstwind for maximum fun.
Im not sure sure if 2x quad + upgun sherman works anymore due to new quad pop, but that was fun too.

2 falls, 1 ac car, 1 mortar, 1 ketten, 1pg, 1 at halftrack. (long time since i played but it was about that)
At halftrack disables and the falls fausts kill the tank.
mortar hits everything.
Ac car kills all infantry.
ketten scouts for mortar.
Pg repairs.

Pgrens no longer repair and Faust had their damage to tanks nerfed by relic. your better off not starting with fausts.
AB start. 1xM10 2xM3 halftracks 2x Flame engies w/ Mines 1x Jeep
M10 is infantry crush machine and AT in good hands. failing that you can run around capping sectors and laying mines in vital areas. Flamers are good to drive right in jump out and burn things.
as PE-Scorched Earth
2x G43 Pgrens 1x Tank busters 1x Marder III 2x ATHT w/ focus fire and treadbreaker. and a ketten if you feel like it.
Slow + Focus fire reduces infantry to not a problem. It only takes a combination of 3 hits from schreks/marder to put a tank into the yellow where you can immobilize it. failing that a damaged engine is never a bad thing.
Attacking with that PE build is a little difficult, but then again I usually don't attack in R mode i grab and hold.
