heres a real request:
jagts and king tigers should be rare, as they were in real life and as they are in vcoh. there shouldnt be 2 KTs and a jagt in a single game. and now i say real life again, but its just impossible for allies to fight so much heavy tanks in a single game.
since not allowing the other player call in his KT becouse his mate already has a jagt on the field is retarded, i suggest this: if your tank dies, youll have to play a number of games before you can buy a new one.
this will reduce the amount of super tanks on the field a bit, and actually gives quite a reward for the allies when they finally kill one of these beasts.

Not a particularly good idea, IMO. It won't help to limit the super heavies at all, just give a short period of 'no heavy tank from player x' and a load of pain trying to restructure your company for said player.

This is probably the (interim) route we will be taking into 007.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.
That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.
Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

you're wrong. Pershings and Tigers are all-around heavies that can turn the tide of a battle easily. Panthers are not good AI at all. Churchills are hopeless vs other tanks.

ive used Pershings enough to know that they often turn into a popcap drain since it is quickly dented by AT Tigers also are not that epic. axis can have panther + tiger if you reduce to one so its still one got heavies. I only really see this as a superheavy problem since its a lot of power at 1 time just like a blob of the finest units in your doctrine is a powerpile

Honestly though a Tiger is just a bigger version of the PzIV, hence why you also pay double its price. You could easily argue that running 2 Tigers is not better than running 4 PzIVs. What is potentially an issue with these heavy tanks however is that they all basically get a second life for 60 - 80 munitions which makes it quite the nobrainer.

The second life for Pershings/Tigers isn't exactly like the second life for King Tigers/Jagdpanthers. It's generally easier to deny the second life to the Pershing/Tiger, too.

except the difference that you can have more than a second life for a pershing
we played a game with 3 armor players and 3 pershings each with OBM and field repair....
heavy tanks should be limited to one each company there are anough other vehicles to spend your fuel on
use them

...Except you need to buy a doctrine ability to do that, too. Unless the devs changed it so OBM and Field Repairs automatically come on Pershings, of course. Or are you simply ignoring that small, insignificant detail as well?

There is already a limiter on these, PP cost, it's just it's not as restrictive as you want leophone.
Having an out of game limiter on rounds for re-inforce will just get people playing half arsed games until they get it back, no -one likes re-arranging a battalion because they can't use soemthing for x number of games.
Having an ingame limit would be the only solution.
personally, if it gets into a major problem, either limit the number allowed per battalion, or don't allow repairs on super heavies. (extreme imo).
