I don't think you heard me right, it used to be 4 pop. 8 is too much. Is it really 3 times as powerful as an AT halftrack? I'd be happy with 6 if people think 4 is too low.

always thought the panzer 3 chassis was rather sporty, another of relics iam high model jobs?

The StuG has 8 runners which screams "I am a PIV chassis!"

The Relic StuH is also based on a PIV chassis, so it doesn't even exist.

STuG IV. Anyway, yes, STuG needs love. If you mean the STuH then yes, its a fictional tank in this game.

But its time is not 1944.

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

isnt the panzer4ist supposed to be the 3n?Huh  seems maybe relic was lazy, and didnt want to build a panzer3 chassis model, so just made up some panzer4 variants for stuff...?

Neither one really makes sense. The Pz III was used as an escort vehicle for Tigers if at all, maybe as a command vehicle here and there.

I have no idea why they put a Pz IV D into the game....it just makes no sense.

Well, if any Panzer IV A-F1's still existed, it would probably be used as an infantry support tank or be converted to something more useful.

Makes even less sense that the Panzer elite have less actual panzers than the Wehrmacht  Cheesy

It makes perfect sense. Panzer isn't even a noun. German tanks were panzer-kampf-wagens. Panzer infantry just means they have armored transport.

Give the stug a mine clearing thing like the churhill purchable upgrade. So it can crush hedges est to allow it to supprise allied armour and prevent the allied armour from using the hedges as cover to 'confuse' the poor stug driver.

It is ge-panzerte-infanterie (or exactly: ge-panzerte-panzergrenadiere). Or more precisly for what the panzer elite represents in this game: ge-panzerte-aufklärer (armored reconnaissance).
Panzer just means Tank.
Panzer infanterie does not exist (the first thing springing to my mind would be mechs, while ge-panzerte-infanterie could just mean robocop...).

Panzer only = tank if you're a naive English Tommy shouting "oh look mate, it's a panzer!" It is an adjective and can describe motorized infantry divisions, armored (tank) battalions, or even medieval knights wearing chain-maille.

Not according to this excellent 5 part documentory on Axis Assault Guns and Tank Hunters. See this video at around 8:25, where they show the StuG armed with a 10.5 Howitzer gun to help the grenadiers fight infantry.

IT is in CoH, because in CoH its based on the PIV chassis, not the PIII chassis like it actually was. So the CoH version is a fictional tank.

Thanks bro, I'm sick of people glancing over and slashing my logic to pieces without understanding it Undecided
