Are we going to see any kind of buff to this at all? I'm on the verge of getting my T4 and really wanted NGV, but I assumed it would be getting some kind of buff, because it seems like a really weak T4.

I mean I've heard AP rounds are crazy dangerous.
OBM I know is great, you get 2 repairs for the price of one and can move.
DRR are good if you know how to run a callicentric company good.
HE rounds sounds pretty cool, but all those are already really good at taking out infantry so unless it's helping me kill infantry twice as fast I don't see the point in it. There are no numbers.

I mean is slightly more damage and a little bit quicker reload, worthy of a T4?

Armour T4:
Next-Gen Vehicles:
All Vehicles have 15% more damage, 15% less reload (excl. Burst-fire vehicles)

@RikiRude: The doctrines are currently being reworked, so yes it will most likely be changed.

@LuAn: The numbers are in the launcher description.

Well you see i have to bother with it, because i don't play a whole super lot. so its not like i can run a HE rounds armor company wait for NGV to get fixed then run that. once i start working ill be playing even less then i do now. so i put all my work into one company.

Either way, I'll wait for a dev to confirm if it'll be seeing improvements, I'll just get my other stuff while I wait for it. Or maybe I'll get it, see how I like it, then bitch about it a lot if it really does suck =P
I already said its being worked on. Why isn't my word good enough for you?

I don't think any particular thread has said NGV specifically, but all the doctrines are being reworked for balance right now. I can assure you that NGV, along with alot of other abilities, are being looked into right now.

on a separate note, it says less reload on burst fire weapons, this pretty much just means the quad right? or is it the quad and the .50 cal upgrade?

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

excludes burstfire

That's what I meant, but either way, burst fire weapons are just the .50 and the quad correct? I wasn't sure if the T17 fired in bursts, because I know the ostwind does... right?

Cleaned offtopic

It's being worked on. Riki stop asking 3 times same question when you see answer from bbsmith.

This thread really shouldn't grow up to 2 pages.

NGV doesn't  work on quads

Is there an other unit you want to know?

Burst fire weapons are weapons that fire like a machine gun.

Quads, pumas, any sort of a MG, etc.

To identify a weapon fires in burst theres the attribute "Burst Duration"
However: to be absolutly certain which units this doctrine unlocks affects youd have to check the rgd's in the epbs folder

Ya I know but this attribute isnt listed on Cohstats, so checking the Burst Duration on CohStats is the easier way
