Anyone use this? Pios and Volks can build trenches. Yeah. I don't even see brits use trenches, so does anyone use this? Find it useful at all?

I've seen Glacko use it. I don't plan on getting it on my defensive company. Trenches are way too risky in my book.

only good on defense. Works good against allies if they have no flame otherwise, not all that great. I have held a line as brits using two trenches before, was pretty sweet until i got flame mortared.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

It's good to defend a 88 or pak or mortar against infantry. Just put some mp40 volks in.

Trenches firstly provide green cover for everyone inside them, 360 degree radius i think (maybe not for the holes in the sides)
Trenches if used properly on whermact can be amazing. LMG 42 grens i would think would work best inside them. The only reason brits dont use them is because either a P4 will come and destroy everything or the axis motar will run over everything else.
Basically trenches are best used as a defensive tool as a means of truely securing territory. It's just 1 step up from sandbags really.

Mortars deal damage to troops in trenches, not sure how much damage arty does to them.

They are good for holding maps that are two sectors across, you can build a trench on the line so one sqaud holds 2 sectors, then the enemy cant cap at all.

Most of the time what happens when I build a trench is the following scenario.
1. Brens chill around in the trench. 2. Flaming mortar round hits them. 3. They run away to survive. 4. Axis rush and force me further away. 5. Axis take over my trench and use it to threaten what it was meant to defend.

Good at screwing up micro on tanks seeing as they bounce around like a kid in an inflatable room.
